As you know, every year we hold this Social Studies Fair inviting the Jersey City Community! It was a way for us to share the beautiful work of our students. Our classroom doors open and visitors may come and see each classroom turn into a live museum. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to host such an extravagant event. However, learning did not stop. The students created a virtual museum! This digital platform provided a way to showcase our year-long theme, Art, Architecture, and Archeology!
These virtual museums are also open to the public and like other museums, there are some exhibits still under construction! Our Toddler Museum will feature 2-year-olds singing the Continent Song! You do not want to miss this! Our tech team has been working so hard to make this magic happen! So make sure to come back on Monday, June 15 for their Grand Opening, right after the Toddler Moving Up Ceremony!
Online Year End Celebration 2020
Adopting a theme and carrying it through our activities is a hallmark of Hudson Montessori School. The theme of our theatrical production, “Mice in the Museum,” connects nicely with our virtual museum this year! Come see what happens when children mice investigate our Virtual Social Studies Fair Museum. The show premieres on June 16!
